What unique selling points do you offer?

When we first started offering web hosting services in 1997, we were focused on Windows-based web hosting platforms. Over the years, we continually upgraded our platforms as new versions came out, and branched out into other Microsoft technologies like SharePoint Services, Hosted Exchange Email and Hyper-V based Virtual Server hosting. With all of our experience hosting Microsoft based services plus our Microsoft Gold Partnership, we have a strong background in Microsoft Technologies.

One of the unique features of our Windows 2008 based Shared Hosting platform is that we include a dedicated IP with your hosting plan. This is useful for SEO, as you won’t be sharing your IP with tens or hundreds of other customers. This is a standard feature that is included for free with our Premium and Professional hosting plans.

We also offer a Linux-based shared hosting platform which has grown rapidly over the years. Our regular POP3/IMAP4 email infrastructure is also run on Unix-based servers.

And to take things to the next level, our Premium and Professional web hosting plans include the best of both worlds. You get a Windows 2008 hosting account and a Linux hosting account included with your hosting package at no additional charge. This gives web hosting users many different options for deploying their web sites and web-based applications.

We feel that this broad range of hosting options provides many solutions and alternatives to our customers. We have a strong focus on security and reliability. We know that our customers expect the best that their money can buy and we do whatever possible to deliver the highest quality service at all times.

Describe the services you offer?

We currently offer both Windows 2008 and Debian Linux based shared hosting plans. Our Premium and Professional hosting plans actually include 2 web hosting accounts in one, a Windows-based site plus a Linux-based site. This allows you to take advantage of whatever technologies you need to get the job done!

Our web hosting plans include a full email solution, but you can also choose to upgrade your email services to our Hosted Exchange Email service. This is a great solution if you want to get more out of your email. You can take advantage of all the built in collaboration features included with Microsoft Exchange at only a fraction of the cost of running your own server. It even includes Mobile Device support and a free license for Outlook 2007 or Entourage 2008.

Along with our Hosted Exchange Email, we also offer SharePoint Hosting. SharePoint allows you to take your Microsoft Office experience online, and share and collaborate with others in a web-based interface. It’s really quite customizable and can be used to accomplish many different goals.

And finally, we also offer Virtual Server hosting options, including Windows 2008 plans based on Microsoft Hyper-V, and Debian Linux or CentOS plans based on Xen. Both Hyper-V and Xen offer a fully virtualized instance of the operating system, and not a containerized system. This gives you full control over your virtual server.

Describe your target market?

Our target market varies from individuals and web hobbyists to SMBs to businesses of any size. Our shared hosting platform and email services are suitable for many different sized businesses. And our Hosted Exchange Email service scales very well even for large organizations.

For those customers who outgrow our shared hosting services, our Virtual Server hosting plans have very low server density and present some additional options for our customers.

How is your company planning for the future?

Over the last year our company has undergone both organizational changes to shift toward a more market-driven model. And we are also implementing a number of changes and improvements in anticipation of further growth. We are currently undergoing a data center expansion to increase the amount of space and to further improve our environmental service levels. We have also introduced a fully upgraded network infrastructure with improved access to carrier grade network providers.

We are constantly working to keep ahead of the wave so that the resources and capacity we need in the future are in place today.

What benefits can you offer your customers?

As the commoditization of the web hosting market increases, we recognize that there are web hosting users that understand that you get what you pay for. “Unlimited Everything” doesn’t always mean unlimited. Our web hosting plans offer a good value with more than enough resources for the average customer. And it’s all backed by our secure and reliable infrastructure, and our exceptional Customer Support team, located in our Toronto office, just steps away from our systems administrators and software developers.

At the same time, we recognize that our customers want to get as much bang for their buck. You can go out and try one of the many unlimited web hosting companies.
